曼達維兒童合唱團（MCYC）是一支來自菲律賓宿霧、擁有30名團員的合唱團。在蘇嘉羅的指導之下，他們自2004年起受邀於許多國際音樂節中演出，並且在國內外多項合唱比賽中獲得首獎。
2007年、MCYC在印尼雅加達舉辦的「第一屆亞洲合唱大賽」中，贏得了兒童合唱、民謠，以及宗教音樂三個組別的金牌。2009年、MCYC在韓國慶南所舉辦的「第一屆世界合唱錦標賽」之大獎賽中，成為了兒童合唱組的世界冠軍。2011年、MCYC受邀參加「2011香港國際青少年合唱節」，並於會中獲得了四個獎項，包括了兩個組別的金牌、民謠組冠軍，以及評審團最大獎。2012年、MCYC應台北愛樂文教基金會的邀請，於「第12屆台北國際合唱音樂節」演出。同年、他們還受邀於梵蒂岡的聖彼得大教堂，在第二位菲律賓聖徒伯多祿．卡隆索德的封聖儀式中演唱。
2015年、MCYC在德國哈雷所舉辦的「第36屆韓德爾兒童合唱音樂節」中榮獲首獎，同時、他們還在瑞典斯德哥爾摩所舉辦的「阿道夫．腓特烈之唱出未來」中，擔任演出嘉賓。MCYC在連續三屆亞洲兒童節中擔任菲律賓代表：第一屆越南河內（2016）、第二屆越南芽莊（2018）、第三屆越南峴港（2019）。2017年、他們在美國進行了巡迴演出，足跡遍及奧勒岡州、華盛頓州、加州舊金山、格羅弗海灘、洛杉磯、亞利桑那州，以及猶他州鹽湖城等地。

The Mandaue Children and Youth Chorus is a 30-member choir from Cebu, Philippines. Under the tutelage of Maestro Dennis Gregory A. Sugarol, the choir has participated in international music festivals and garnered top prizes and awards in a number of national and international music competitions since 2004.
In the 1st Asian Choir Games 2007 in Jakarta, Indonesia in July 2007, the choir won three gold medals in the three categories - Children’s Choir, Folklore, and Music of the Religions. In 2009 the choir joined the Grand Prix Competition of the First World Choir Championships in Gyeongnam, Republic of Korea and was World Champion in the Children’s Choir Category.
In 2011 MCYC was invited to participate in the 2011 Hong Kong International Youth and Children’s Choir Festival and came home with four awards – two gold medals for the 2 categories they competed in, a trophy as Champion in the Folklore Category and another trophy as Jury’s Prize recipient.
In July of 2012, through the invitation of Taipei Philharmonic Foundation, Taiwan, MCYC performed during the 12th Taipei International Choral Festival. In the same year, the choir sang at the the canonization of the 2nd Filipino Saint, Pedro Calungsod, at St. Peter’s Basilica, Rome, Italy.
In 2015 the choir bagged the Top Prize at the 36th George Fredric Handel’s Kinderchor Festival Halle, Germany. The group also performed as a Guest Choir in the prestigious Adolf Fredrik’s Let the Future Sing in Stockholm, Sweden.
MCYC was the Philippine’s representative to the 1st Asian Children’s Festival in Hanoi Vietnam (2016), the 2nd Asian Children’s Festival in Nah Trang, Vietnam (2018), and the 3rd Asian Children’s Festival in Danang, Vietnam (2019).
In 2017 the choir made a Concert Tour in the United States of America, sharing their gift of music to the people of Oregon; Washington State; San Francisco, California; Grover Beach, California; Los Angeles, California; Arizona; and Salt Lake City, Utah.
The choir is a recipient of the Philippine government’s most coveted honorary awards for the performing arts, such as Garbo sa Sugbu, Perlas, and Ani Ng Dangal awards for bringing honor to the country and for promoting Filipino music and arts to the world.

Dennis Sugarol, conductor
蘇嘉羅是一名指揮、音樂監督及作曲家。他於1997年在宿霧市取得了他的音樂學士學位，並於2003年在菲律賓亞洲禮儀與音樂學院，完成了合唱教學與指揮的特別課程。

2016年，蘇嘉羅的創作歌曲〈爸爸回來了〉，獲得了宿霧流行音樂節的第一名，同時他還為不同企業和機構創作主題歌曲。蘇嘉羅同時也是菲律賓政府所頒發許多重要文化獎項的得主，例如「宿霧之光」、「珍珠」、「榮耀豐收」等，這些獎項旨在鼓勵為國家帶來榮譽，並且向全世界推廣菲律賓音樂和藝術的藝術工作者。
Maestro Dennis Gregory A. Sugarol is a conductor, music director, and composer. He finished his Bachelors Degree of Music in Cebu City in 1997 and a special course on Techniques in Choral Pedagogy and Conducting at the Asian Institute for Liturgy and Music in the Philippines in 2003.
His choral groups namely the Mandaue School for the Arts Children’s Choir, Mandaue Children’s Choir, Tabor Hill College Choir, Children's Paradise Montessori School Choir, St. Benedict Children’s Choir, and Cebu Chamber Singers, are recipients of major awards both in national and international music competitions.
The Mandaue School for the Arts Children’s Choir was a champion at the 2004 National Music Competition for Young Artists and a recipient of three Gold Medals at the 2007 1st Asian Choir Games in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Mandaue Children’s Choir won two Gold Medals and a Grand Prix Award at the 2009 World Choir Championship. They also won a Grand Prix for Choirs at Gyeongnam, South Korea and a Top Prize Winner at the 2015 George Frederic Handle’s 36th Internationales Kinderchorfestival at Halle, Germany. The Mandaue Children and Youth Chorus also won two Gold Medals, Category Winner and a Jury’s Prize Awardee at the 2011 Hong Kong International Children and Youth Choir Festival.
The Tabor Hill College Choir was a Grand Prix Winner at the 2013 Interkultur Germany-organized Sing N’ Joy competition in Manila, Philippines. The Children’s Paradise Montessori School Choir was a Gold Winner at the 2017 Australian International Music Festival and was invited to perform at the iconic Sydney Opera House.
In 2016, the composition of Maestro Dennis entitled Tatay Pauli na, won 1st Prize in Cebu Pop Music Festival. He also composes for corporate and institutional theme songs. Maestro Dennis is a recipient of the Philippine government’s most coveted honorary awards for the performing arts, such as Garbo sa Sugbu, Perlas, and Ani Ng Dangal awards for bringing honor to the country and for promoting Filipino music and arts to the world.
